Tech Stack Debrief

  • Framework & Core: We used Next.js and React for the core structure, making the site fast, dynamic, and flexible. Routing, server-side rendering, and API routes are all handled by Next.js.
  • Styling: Tailwind CSS powers all the styling. We also use custom CSS for unique touches, especially for font integration and responsive tweaks.
  • 3D & Interactivity: The home page features a 3D model rendered with Three.js via @react-three/fiber. All 3D assets are loaded and animated in real time, and the model is by Brady Cloud (see credits).
  • Fonts: Typography is a huge part of our vibe. See the Font Credits below for details and links.
  • Other Details: All music and sound effects are original, produced by team 1383. The site is fully responsive, works on all devices, and is optimized for performance. We rely on open-source tools, a lot of late-night debugging, and plenty of caffeine.
